EMCO High Voltage Corp. Opens Solar Powered Factory

EMCO High Voltage Corporation has developed a new manufacturing facility designed around Lean Manufacturing principals and incorporating "green" design elements. Key to the "green" initiative is a large photo-voltaic solar array, redundant inverters and large battery bank.

While this factory punctuates EMCO's commitment to energy conservation and cost of energy containment, it's main purpose is to provide customers with uninterrupted deliveries during natural or man-made disruptions on the local power grid. It is a level of independence that elevates confidence that customer demands are met under any circumstance. This translates into a direct savings to our customers by enabling us to keep our operation costs running efficiently and economically, despite increased energy costs in the overall economy.
