A Message from EMCO's President and CEO

Please join me in welcoming Ryck Johnson and Gordon Van Pelt to the EMCO management team.

As Director of Engineering and Manufacturing, Ryck Johnson has joined the EMCO team to spearhead the engineering and manufacturing departments. Ryck has served in key positions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Server and Networking Division for the past 13 years. Prior to HP, Ryck was President and on the Board of Directors of Progressive Networks and also held positions as VP Business Development, VP Engineering, manufacturing manager and quality manager at other companies.

Gordon Van Pelt has joined EMCO as the new California Operations Plant Manager. With over 20 years of production manager experience at several Silicon Valley top tier electronic OEM companies, Gordon understands the level of commitment required to meet World Class manufacturing standards. Gordon states, "I am excited to carry out our strategic manufacturing plans and continue to drive EMCO's leadership position in high voltage manufacturing."

Working Cleaner: EMCO - California Goes Solar

A new large photo-voltaic solar array, redundant inverters and large battery bank now energize EMCO
California. According to Mike Janto, EMCO's Senior Program Manager, "This investment punctuates our commitment to meeting production schedules and delivery times. Operating at a high state of reliability at all times assures uninterrupted service for our customers."

Manufacturing Facilities: EMCO California and EMCO Nevada

EMCO California's recent expansion into a new facility anchors EMCO's "Flex Chain" supply system based on Lean/ Demand-Pull principles designed for short time to delivery,
often the same day, at lower costs with reduced environmental impact. EMCO President Mike Doherty states, "This expansion  means more room for new, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology, which equates to expanded customer service capacity and room for future growth as the demand for quality products continues to grow."

The EMCO California expansion follows the recent grand opening of the new EMCO Nevada manufacturing and design facility in Minden. Ryck Johnson, EMCO's new Director of Engineering and Manufacturing, believes "Manufacturing made America great, but to effectively compete and prosper in today's environment, a company has to be efficient and lean."
