Manufacturing Facilities: EMCO California and EMCO Nevada
EMCO California's recent expansion into a new facility anchors EMCO's "Flex Chain" supply system based on Lean/ Demand-Pull principles designed for short time to delivery, often the same day, at lower costs with reduced environmental impact. EMCO President Mike Doherty states, "This expansion means more room for new, state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology, which equates to expanded customer service capacity and room for future growth as the demand for quality products continues to grow."
The EMCO California expansion follows the recent grand opening of the new EMCO Nevada manufacturing and design facility in Minden. Ryck Johnson, EMCO's new Director of Engineering and Manufacturing, believes "Manufacturing made America great, but to effectively compete and prosper in today's environment, a company has to be efficient and lean."
