EMCO is committed to the the standards and goals of chemical safety set forth by
the European Parliament. To the best of our knowledge, no EMCO products contain
Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as listed by the European Chemicals
Agency (ECHA) and regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 and it's subsequent amendments.

1. EMCO High Voltage Corporation now has RoHS products available and is committed to conducting business in a manner consistent with the efficient use of resources and materials, and the preservation of the natural environment.
2. EMCO's "RoHS products" are those products which are designed to comply with the European Union's Restriction on the Use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Electronic Equipment Directive 2002/95/EC, which means that either (A) the levels of lead (Pb) and other materials banned by the RoHS directive in our products are below applicable substance thresholds as proposed by the European Union, and thus considered "Lead-Free," or (B) an approved RoHS exemption applies to the product.
MEDICAL, LIFE-SAVING, OR LIFE SUSTAINING APPLICATIONS
EMCO's products are not authorized for use as critical components in Life Support devices or systems without the express written approval of the president and general counsel of EMCO High Voltage Corporation. As used herein:
1: Life support devices or systems are devices or systems which, (a) are intended for surgical implant into the body, or (b) support or sustain life, and whose failure to perform, when properly used in accordance with instructions for use provided, can be reasonably expected to result in a significant injury to the user.
2: A critical component is any component of a life support device or system whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to cause the failure of the life support device or system, or to affect its safety or effectiveness.

EMCO high Voltage Corporation (EMCO) believes that any product use, recommendation or product information presented is an accurate description of the typical characteristics or uses of the product, but it is your responsibility to thoroughly test the product in your specific application to determine its performance, efficacy, and safety under your conditions of use. Suggestions of uses should not be taken as inducements to infringe on any patent, unless EMCO provides you with a specific written warranty of fitness for a particular use, EMCO sole warranty, as supplied, will meet EMCO's then current sales specifications. SAFETY WARNING
High voltage power supplies present a serious risk of personal injury if not used in accordance with design and/or use specifications, if used in applications on products for which they are not intended or designed, or if they are used by untrained or unqualified personnel. Before testing, incorporating or using EMCO's products, read, understand and thereafter adhere to all instructions, protocol, cautions and safety procedures applicable not only to EMCO's products but to each product and/or application into which EMCO's products are incorporated or assembled, as well as industry standard safe practices and rules and regulations regarding the use of high voltage.
